Play Blackjack with these Possible Outcomes
To play Blackjack, a player must be prepared for a wide range of different outcomes in the game. Although Blackjack involves a fair amount of skill, the game also flows in accordance with the unpredictable factor of luck. Sitting down to play Blackjack means taking a risk on a card game. By using strategy and following expert advice, that risk can be minimized, but it still exists. Even if players play Blackjack by following every suggested play in the strategy book, they may still lose.
The first way to win in casino or online Blackjack is to come right off the deal with an automatic 21. To do this, a player has to be dealt two cards that naturally add up to 21 (a natural Blackjack). These two cards must consist of an Ace of 11 points and one 10-point card. This hand automatically ends the game, paying out 3:2.
The second way to play Blackjack and win is to beat the dealer in standard play. A player must outmaneuver the dealer to score a total closer to 21 than the dealer’s to win this 1:1 payout.
If the dealer busts over 21 and the player doesn’t, the player wins at the 1:1 rate.
Occasionally, the player and the dealer will tie with the same score. This is called a push; neither player wins, bets are returned.
A player can lose by busting over the 21 limit. Even if the dealer busts as well, the player still loses his original bet.
